Superstar Sweet Potato Smoothie Bowl

Serves 2

  • 2 large handfuls spinach
  • 1 medium sweet potato
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground or fresh ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground or fresh turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons of your chosen MACACHA blend
  • 1 – 1/2 cups almond or cashew milk (we like Plenish)
  • To top: desiccated coconut, cacao nibs, goji berries, pumpkin seeds, granola, fresh berries, pumpkin seeds, coconut or natural yoghurt 
  1. Peel and chop your sweet potato into chunks then add to a high speed blender with the remaining ingredients. Add a cup of milk first and then add more if you prefer a thinner consistency.
  2. Divide between 2 bowls and adorn with your preferred toppings.
