THE HANGOVER CABBAGE CURE!

CABBAGE. It might be your first thought when choosing the ingredients for your morning juice, but these amazing vegetables are a nutrition powerhouse and they're super accessible and affordable too! 

Cabbages are busting with benefits;

  • Skin food - They're high in vitamin C making them a powerful antioxidant! Great for fighting off those free radicals and for removing toxins from the body.
  • Brain food - They're full of Vitamin K and flavonoids that support mental health and concentration (red cabbages especially)
  • Gut food  - known for their gut healing properties, they're fibre-rich and full of gut-friendly insoluble fibre - perfect for this time of year!!!

Red or green, juice it up with some fresh carrot, beetroot, celery, apple and a slice of ginger (or on its own for those who are hardcore!!). 

Ingredients: 

Serves 2 (smallish glasses)

  • Half a red or green cabbage 
  • 3 Celery sticks
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 thumb-sized sprig of ginger
  • 1 apple

Add all contents to a juicer. Pour into your glass and enjoy!
